Thomas Brown and Anna Burns’s fed their obsession with classic B movies by creating an homage video called POPPOPBANG. But rather than recreating scenes, they instead transfered stills onto umbrellas, opening them up one by one to reveal the final image.
And for the grand finale, they blow one of these umbrella scenes up! The scene that gets the pyrotechnic treatment is one taken directly from The A-Team, positioned in front of an English castle.
It’s all the violence you’d hope for packed into three minutes with an explosion tacked on the end. What more could you ask for.
